Abbey Gilchrist-Zacher

Abbey brings a diverse background and a fresh perspective to her role as the Maintenance Manager and Phone Support for the Peel and South West region at Emerson Raine. Originally from the picturesque Mornington Peninsula in Melbourne, Abbey embarked on an adventurous journey with her husband and beloved dog, making the move to Pinjarra in WA in pursuit of a new life and career at the end of 2014. Their cross-country journey across the Nullarbor was not just a relocation, but an exciting quest for new opportunities and experiences.

 

Abbey's journey at Emerson Raine began as a Receptionist, but her passion for growth and learning propelled her into the role of Maintenance Manager just four months later. Despite being relatively new to the strata industry, Abbey embraced the challenge with enthusiasm and dedication. What started as a leap into the unknown has evolved into a fulfilling career where she thrives on the constant learning and dynamic nature of her role.

 

Abbey's love for strata stems from her fascination with maintenance operations, where she finds herself continually expanding her knowledge and building strong relationships with contractors. Her background in customer service and support, combined with her innate ability to connect with others, allows her to excel in her role while maintaining a high level of professionalism and organization.

 

Outside of work, Abbey cherishes spending quality time with her young family. Whether she's whipping up delicious meals in the kitchen, tending to her garden, or embarking on creative home projects, Abbey finds joy in nurturing her domestic pursuits. An avid traveller, she also enjoys exploring Australia in search of new culinary experiences and hidden gems.
